How Cleaning Pros Plus documented every hood cleaning across five apps, none built for NFPA 96 — and what the software was built to replace.
The company
Cleaning Pros Plus is a Merced, California hood cleaning company — an IKECA member (#76716495) running one crew across the Central Valley, Bay Area, and Northern California. Founder Arthur Haggerty holds IKECA CECS #200452. HoodOps is the software Cleaning Pros Plus created for hood cleaning companies.
The process, before
Every service ended the same way. Arthur pulled the job data out of Jobber and built the NFPA 96 report by hand in an Adobe fill-in PDF, because Jobber has no NFPA 96 support — about thirty minutes each, with the NFPA 96 findings and requirements copied and pasted in from a separate document — and a mistake meant starting over. The photos were turned into their own report inside CompanyCam — a tool not built for hood cleaning companies. As we used it, there were no buckets for hood, duct, or fan, every photo had to be tagged by hand, and there was no way to separate before from after. The report went out through DocuSign for signature, and when the fully executed copy came back it was uploaded to Google Drive.
Jobber, Adobe, CompanyCam, DocuSign, Google Drive — five applications for every job, and not one of them knew NFPA 96. Thirty minutes of report assembly per job alone, by Arthur’s own count — before the signing round-trip and the photo report.
What HoodOps generates instead
The NFPA 96 report and certificate come from the job record — deficiencies, recommendations, and state-specific NFPA 96 requirements — with a draft preview before anything is final. A mistake is a correction, not a restart.
Before-and-after photos are captured inside the job, already split before/after and labeled by component, and stored per job and per client — no separate photo app.
One record per job, one history per client, delivered from the same place the work was logged.

Where this stands
